“He's my Good Dog” was all I could think when sitting down at the table to write this one. The Vet gave his diagnosis, I'd tried what treatments I could, and still I was going to lose my dog of over 11 years. Unfortunately that's just the way things go when we let a pet into our lives. We know at some point we have to say goodbye.

With each stroke of the pen, a bit of sadness mixed in with the joy of reminiscing about all the good times my dog and I had shared, from the time he was a puppy learning “how to dog,” to walks in the park, and even seeing me through some tough nights & heartbreaks.
